Equine emergencies can happen without warning, and knowing who to call when your horse needs immediate veterinary attention can make all the difference. At Elite Equine, we understand the stress and uncertainty that come with an unexpected injury or medical emergency.
From colic and traumatic injuries to acute lameness and other urgent medical concerns, our goal is to provide timely evaluations, appropriate treatment, and clear communication when your horse needs us most.
We are committed to supporting our established clients through urgent medical situations, providing practical guidance, individualized treatment recommendations, and referral assistance when advanced hospital-based care is necessary.
After-Hours Emergency Availability

Elite Equine offers after-hours emergency veterinary services to established clients when Dr. Zach is available and within the service area.
While we strive to be accessible when emergencies arise, after-hours coverage is dependent on veterinarian availability and cannot be guaranteed at all times.
If Dr. Zach is unavailable or your horse requires specialized treatment, surgery, or intensive hospital care, we will make every reasonable effort to provide guidance and assist with referral recommendations to an appropriate equine facility.
Our priority is helping your horse receive the appropriate level of veterinary attention as quickly and safely as possible.
Emergency Service Fees
After-hours emergency appointments are subject to an additional emergency fee, in addition to applicable examination, treatment, diagnostic, and farm-call charges.
Payment for all emergency services is required at the time of treatment.
